Camp Awesome® wants to do everything it can to help keep our beaches and oceans safe and clean for everyone so that we can continue to enjoy its benefits. So Camp Awesome® has partnered with The Seachange Agency, a nonprofit organization aimed at improving marine ecosystems for sea turtles, and all their cohabitants.
The Seachange Agency
Recognizing that plastic pollution is a major cause of habitat destruction, The Seachange Agency is a non-profit organization that seeks to improve and protect marine ecosystems for sea turtles and their cohabitants. We improve through plastic clean up efforts in the Santa Monica Bay and protect through our Pluckfastic initiative, encouraging the local community to choose to refuse single use plastic products.
Camp Awesome® has also proudly sponsored the Del Rey American Little League and Race for Success (LMU). Camp Awesome® has as well partnered with the American Cancer Society at local Relay for Life events and coached local Manhattan Beach Youth Basketball teams (MBYB).
